Heather L. Swede is a fantasy author whose specialties include characters with wings, magic, and strong female leads. Heather grew up in Virginia with three sisters whom she used to make up crazy stories for; after she graduated from college, she started to write those stories down. Now she spends every free moment trying to articulate the worlds she pictures in her head.
Outside of writing, Heather enjoys eating Mexican food —nachos are her favorite. She loves curling up on the couch with a good book —check out her favorite books page. One of her favorite hiking spots is Acadia National Park in Maine. She enjoys watching Netflix, especially Greys Anatomy, New Girl, and The Vampire Diaries.
