2020 has been a crazy year for everyone; including myself. From moving to a new state, dealing with the new reality of the COVID-19 outbreak, trying to make new friends, and still trying to keep up with writing and reading it’s definitely been busy. For my last monthly blog post of 2020 If figured I would recap on the year.

Books I Listened to in 2020
This year with being home a lot more I started getting into audiobooks and having them on in the background while I did stuff around the house, painted, or went for a bike ride. I started off by listening to books I had already read and enjoyed, such as: Kingdom of Ash, Crescent City, ACOTAR, Cruel Prince Series, and most recently I started listening to Cinder on audible (which I had previously read back when the covers weren’t as cool as they are now). I also listened to The Big Kahuna and From Blood and Ash for the first time on audible. I’m really glad I discovered the amazing world of audiobooks and will probably keep listening in 2021!
Author Milestones of 2020
In 2020 I got this website up and running, and consistently posted on my blog each month. I started sending out a monthly newsletter to recap on what I have been up to each month (sign up below). I finished my final edits for my Flightless book and sent out the first round of queries for it. I participated in NaNoWriMo and started writing my fifth book.
All in all, despite the circumstances of 2020, I made good progress toward my author goals and I read and listened to some great books by amazing authors!
